Being born in the 60’s and having The Beatles as my earliest musical memories, I knew from a very early age that I would be interested in music. Like many other guitarists, I can point to KISS as inspiring me to play guitar. Oddly enough it was my Grandmother that bought me a copy of KISS’ 1976 release, “Rock and Roll Over”. I still have it and have since had the band sign it as I told them the story of how I received it. I’m sure Jimmy Page and Ace Frehley are the reasons I love Les Pauls as well.

Starting at 11 years old, I beat on an acoustic guitar that my Dad had laying around the house. I got my first electric guitar when I was around 14. I had a friend that showed me power chords and that was all it took for me to begin to learn my favorite songs from KISS, Zeppelin, Black Sabbath. It resulted in my first “band” in high school. We never played outside our garage and that’s a good thing! Thankfully, I dedicated myself to tons of woodshedding over the years to develop my passion. Luckily, I’ve been able to play with a few musicians that I admire and have been able to play many of the top venues in the region. I love watching other local guitarists who inspire me. There is always something to learn from other players.

My most recent adventure in music began in 2009 as lead guitarist of nighTTrain (http://www.nighttrainonline.com). Performing regionally, we have accomplished many of our goals in the 6 years we have been together. Last year I gained an endorsement from Palir Guitars our of Sulphur, LA which makes great instruments exactly to your specs. This resulted in the creation of the Palir SC6. I’m ecstatic to begin a relationship with Taurus Pedals. They have products that sound great and are built like little tanks!
